Hinter Rendl / Back(side) of Rendl St. Anton

Hinter Rendl / Backside of Rendl – St. Anton

Overview:
A beautiful, long off-piste run with often excellent snow conditions.
⚠️ Avalanche Risk: Be cautious after snowfall—avalanches can release from the top.

Access:
From the Riffel 2 chairlift, no walking is required. Traverse to the backside towards Hinter Rendl.

Route:

  1. In the center of the bowl, ski down about 300 vertical meters, then traverse through the rocky section on the right side.
  2. Continue down the valley toward a very obvious hill in the middle of Hinter Rendl. You can pass it on either the right or left side.
  3. Ski further down to two large avalanche dams.
  4. After the avalanche dams, ski along the left-hand side of the stream over a gentle slope.
  5. Near the bottom, you’ll encounter a steep mogul slope. After that, continue on the path back to St. Anton.

Comment:
A wonderful, long run with easy access and often great snow conditions.
