Milchböden Off-Piste from Stuben Albona to Verwalltal, St. Anton
The Milchböden offers a variety of off-piste skiing options.
From the top of the Albona cable car, turn left into the southeast-facing slope. Ski down to the saddle, then hike uphill for about 5 minutes. Traverse eastward below the Knödelkopf and ski down the beautiful south-facing slopes until you reach a path leading to skier’s left, just outside the valley. After 200 meters, you will cross a very steep gully—while technically easy, be cautious of potential avalanches from above.
From there, follow the path all the way to Gasthaus Verwall.
In both cases, follow the path to Gasthaus Verwall, where you can take the ski bus back to St. Anton.
